pues andaba dando la vuelta por internet... y me encontre este filtro:
Tetratec 500 Power Filter

The Tetra Tec 500 provides advanced filtration for a healthy aquarium by creating a Tidal Flow. 500 gallons per hour cycle into the filter through four extra large Pro II filter cartridges (included) for maximum removal of particles and waste. Before gently returning to your aquarium the water is exposed to a BioFoam where beneficial bacteria removes harmful ammonia. This filter combines three filtration methods to provide crystal clear water. The world's first external heater may also be added directly to the Tetra Tec filter, creating an integrated heating and filtration system. Good for aquariums up to 100 gallons.

Se ve bastante bueno, aunque nunca he visto de esos filtros acá.

como para 100 galones?

Para 100 Galones me parece bien, opinión muy personal, esos filtros a mi me gustan porque son fáciles de limpiar solo que que revuelcan un poco el agua.

En lo personal yo trato de poner dos filtros para alternar su limpieza.
